Electrical panel board manufacturer in Dubai

An electrical control panel manufacturer building every panel in-house

Anchor Marine Engineering is an electrical panel board manufacturer and panel builder in Dubai, and an electrical panel supplier across the UAE: we design, assemble, wire and test LV panels, electrical control panels and switchgear for industrial plants, buildings, power stations and vessels. Every panel is built in-house, in IP65-rated enclosures, for the heat, humidity and vibration of UAE plant rooms and engine rooms.

We build all types of panels, from MDB, SMDB and DB distribution boards and motor control panels to PLC, generator and temperature control panels, to your drawings or to match a panel being replaced. The same team repairs, modifies, retrofits and refurbishes existing panels, and installs and commissions them.

With a working knowledge of local compliance standards, our panels are engineered for safety, energy efficiency and long-term reliability, whether you need bespoke panels or standard systems.

As an electrical control panel manufacturer and control panel supplier in the UAE, we carry out the full panel assembly in our Dubai workshop: MCC panels, PLC panels, VFD and starter panels and LV switchgear, assembled, wired and tested before delivery. Customers looking for control panel manufacturers in the UAE get design, build, installation and later repair from one team.

Control panel design & fabrication

From panel design to commissioning

Every control panel is designed, fabricated, assembled and wired in our workshop, then tested before delivery and commissioned on site.

StageWhat we do
Panel designControl panel systems designed from your single-line diagram, with PLC integration, automation and precise layouts.
Fabrication & assemblyBuilt in-house using IP65-rated enclosures and top-grade materials for harsh marine and factory environments.
Wiring & labellingBreakers, contactors, drives, meters and controls fitted, wired and labelled circuit by circuit.
Testing & commissioningInsulation resistance testing, loop checks, thermal simulation and live commissioning.
ComplianceBuilt and tested to DEWA, FEWA and marine class standards as the project requires.

Repair & retrofit

Electrical panel repair, modification and retrofit

Not every job needs a new panel. The team that builds our panels also brings existing ones back into reliable service.

New panels

Built to your drawings

A new electrical or control panel, designed, built and tested in our workshop, then installed and commissioned.

  • Design from your single-line diagram
  • Assembly, wiring and labelling in-house
  • Testing before delivery
  • Installation and commissioning

Existing panels

Repair, modify, retrofit

Work on the panels already installed, so they stay safe and reliable without a full replacement.

  • Electrical panel repair
  • Modification: new circuits, feeders and controls
  • Retrofit of breakers, contactors, meters and controls
  • Refurbishment of older panels

Marine panels

Marine switchboards built to class standards

For vessels we build main switchboards, generator synchronizing panels, feeder and distribution panels, starter panels and engine, AC and alarm panels, to marine class standards, and install them on board. Existing ship switchboards are repaired, retrofitted and refurbished.

Are you an electrical panel manufacturer in Dubai?

Yes. Anchor Marine Engineering designs, builds and tests electrical control panels and switchgear in-house in Dubai, for industrial plants, buildings and vessels, and has done since 1995.

Which electrical panels do you build?

All types: LV panels, MDB, SMDB and DB distribution boards, motor control and starter panels, VFD panels, PLC and automation panels, generator panels (ATS, AMF and synchronizing), temperature control panels, switchgear assemblies and marine switchboards.

What is a panel builder?

A panel builder designs, assembles, wires and tests electrical panels such as distribution boards, motor control panels and control panels, using breakers and components from the major manufacturers. Anchor Marine Engineering is a panel builder in Dubai, building panels in-house at Al Jadaf Dry Dock.

What is the difference between an MDB, SMDB and DB?

An MDB (main distribution board) takes the incoming supply and feeds the main circuits of a building or plant. SMDBs (sub-main distribution boards) take power from the MDB and feed areas, floors or plant sections. DBs (final distribution boards) feed the final circuits such as lighting, sockets and small equipment. We build all three.

Do you design control panels to our specification?

Yes. Our engineering team designs control panel systems around your requirement, with PLC integration, automation and precise layouts for shipboard and industrial use, from standard systems to bespoke panels.

Do you repair or retrofit existing panels?

Yes. We repair, modify, retrofit and refurbish existing electrical and control panels: fault repairs, new circuits and feeders, replacement of outdated breakers, contactors, meters and controls, and full refurbishment, followed by installation and commissioning.

What enclosures do you use?

Panels are built in-house using IP65-rated enclosures and top-grade materials chosen to withstand harsh marine and factory environments.

What testing do you carry out on panels?

Insulation resistance testing, loop checks, thermal simulation and live commissioning, carried out to DEWA, FEWA and marine class standards as the project requires.

Do you make temperature control panels?

Yes. We manufacture fully programmable temperature control units with thermostats, digital displays and logic controllers, for HVAC and engine systems and for marine HVAC.

Do you build marine switchboards?

Yes. We build marine switchboards and control panels to marine class standards, and repair, retrofit and refurbish existing ones. See our marine switchboards and control panels page.

Do you supply panels across the UAE?

Yes. Panels are built at our workshop in Dubai and supplied across the UAE, for projects in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the other emirates, with installation and commissioning on site.

What information do you need to quote a panel?

The application and what the panel controls, your drawings or single-line diagram if available, load or motor details, the required control functions, the installation location and any standard it must meet (DEWA, FEWA or marine class).

Do you build MCC and PLC panels?

Yes. We build MCC (motor control centre) panels, PLC panels, VFD and starter panels in-house, designed to your specification and assembled and tested in our Dubai workshop.
