Inline & Circulation Heaters
Inline (circulation) heaters manufactured at Al Jadaf, Dubai, to heat oil and water as it flows through a pipeline and keep a consistent fluid temperature in industrial systems. Built to your pipe connections, voltage and wattage, from a sample, a drawing or a specification.

Heating liquid as it flows
An inline heater is mounted in a pipeline so the liquid is heated as it flows through, rather than while it sits in a tank. It is used where a fluid has to arrive at a process or a machine at a steady temperature.
Inline heaters are also called circulation heaters. Both names describe the same design: heating elements inside their own housing, connected into the pipework so the liquid circulates past the elements and leaves at a higher temperature.
Anchor Marine Engineering manufactures inline and circulation heaters at its Al Jadaf workshop for heating oils and water during flow, holding a consistent fluid temperature in industrial systems. Each heater is built to your pipe connections, voltage and wattage, with a terminal box, and tested before delivery.
They are also called pipeline heaters, electric pipeline heaters or circulating heaters, and are used as oil pipeline heaters, industrial pipeline heaters and inline water heaters for industrial systems. For ship fuel oil, lube oil and jacket water systems, see marine oil heaters.

Design
How an inline circulation heater works
Heating elements sit inside a housing that connects into the pipeline. Liquid enters the housing, circulates over the elements and leaves heated, and the heat input is set so the outlet stays at a consistent temperature.
- Elements inside a pipeline housing
- Liquid circulates past the elements
- Holds a consistent outlet temperature
- Terminal box for the electrical connection
Applications
Where inline and circulation heaters are used
Anywhere a fluid must stay at temperature while it moves.
- 01
Oil lines
Heating oil during flow so it reaches equipment at the right temperature.
- 02
Water lines
Heating water during flow in industrial systems.
- 03
Circulating systems
Reheating liquid that is pumped around a loop to hold its temperature.
- 04
Temperature control
Paired with a temperature control panel built in the same workshop.
Built to order
What we need to build your inline heater
There is no fixed catalogue size. Each heater is made to the specification of the equipment it is for, or matched to a sample of the old one.
| Detail | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Voltage & wattage | Sets the heat input to the flowing liquid |
| Pipe connections | Size and type to match your pipeline |
| Liquid heated | Oil or water |
| Flow & temperature | The flow rate and the outlet temperature you need |
| Housing material | Chosen to suit the liquid; matched to your specification |
| Controls | Thermostat or temperature control panel, if required |

FAQ
Inline and circulation heater questions
Not covered here? Call +971 56 278 5002 or email info@anchormarineeng.ae.
What is an inline heater?
It is a heater mounted in a pipeline that heats the liquid as it flows through, so the fluid reaches its destination at a consistent temperature.
Is a circulation heater the same as an inline heater?
Yes. Circulation heater and inline heater are two names for the same design: heating elements in a housing connected into the pipework, so the liquid circulates past the elements and is heated in flow. We manufacture them to your pipe connections, voltage and wattage.
What liquids do your inline heaters heat?
We manufacture inline and circulation heaters for heating oils and water during flow in industrial systems.
What is the difference between an inline heater and an immersion heater?
An immersion heater heats liquid standing in a tank. An inline or circulation heater sits in the pipeline and heats the liquid while it moves.
What information do you need for an inline heater?
The liquid, the flow rate and required outlet temperature, the pipe connections, the voltage and wattage, and any control requirement.
