Electric hot water calorifiers, built to order
A hot water calorifier heats water and stores it, ready for supply to a building, a vessel or a process. Anchor Marine Engineering manufactures electric hot water calorifiers at its Al Jadaf facility in Dubai, as part of our heating elements manufacturing, and supplies them across the UAE.
Each calorifier is custom-built: capacity from 300 to 5000 litres, stainless steel or copper, and heat exchanger configurations to suit the system. They are fitted with temperature controls, pressure relief valves and insulation, and designed for a steady hot water supply with good thermal performance and corrosion resistance.
Because we also make the heating elements and the temperature control panels, the vessel, its elements and its controls come from one workshop.
We are a calorifier manufacturer and calorifier supplier in the UAE. Each electric calorifier is a complete calorifier system: the calorifier tank, the heating elements or heat exchanger, temperature controls, pressure relief valves and insulation, built as a commercial electric water heater for a steady hot water supply. For ships and offshore vessels, we build the calorifier to the vessel’s requirements.

Manufacturer, not a distributor
Why buy a calorifier from the people who make it
Many calorifiers in the UAE are sold through distributors. We build ours, which changes what you can ask for.
- 01
Built to your size
Capacity is chosen for your hot water demand, anywhere from 300 to 5000 litres, rather than the nearest catalogue model.
- 02
Your material
Stainless steel or copper, chosen for the water and the environment, including marine conditions.
- 03
Your configuration
Heat exchanger configurations and fittings set to suit the system the calorifier connects to.
- 04
Elements from the same workshop
We manufacture the heating elements too, so replacements can be made from a sample.
- 05
Controls from the same workshop
Temperature control panels with thermostats, digital displays and logic controllers.
- 06
Made in Dubai
Manufactured at Al Jadaf Dry Dock, where we have worked since 1995.
Applications
Where our calorifiers are used
Hot water for buildings, hospitality, vessels and industry.

Hotels & hospitality
Consistent hot water across large hospitality operations, with water heater elements for boilers and calorifiers.

Residential buildings
Central hot water storage for residential buildings across the UAE.

Offshore vessels
Calorifiers and their heating elements for vessels, built for demanding onboard conditions.

Industrial facilities
Hot water for industrial facilities, with elements and controls made in the same workshop.
How to order

Delivered with its heating elements, temperature controls and pressure relief valve fitted.
What is a hot water calorifier?
A hot water calorifier is an insulated vessel that heats and stores water for supply to taps, showers and process use. Our calorifiers are electric: the water is heated by electric heating elements, with temperature controls and a pressure relief valve, and they can be built with a heat exchanger configuration to suit the system.
Are you a calorifier manufacturer or a supplier?
We are a manufacturer. Anchor Marine Engineering builds hot water calorifiers at its Al Jadaf facility in Dubai and supplies them across the UAE, so the calorifier is made to your requirement rather than chosen from a distributor’s catalogue.
What capacities and materials are available?
We manufacture calorifiers from 300 to 5000 litres, in stainless steel or copper. Capacity, material and heat exchanger configuration are set by your operating requirement.
Can you build a calorifier to our drawing or specification?
Yes. Calorifiers are custom-built. Send your drawing, the specification of an existing unit, or your hot water requirement, and we will confirm the design before quoting.
What information do you need to quote a calorifier?
The capacity in litres, the heating load (kW) and electrical supply, the material (stainless steel or copper), any heat exchanger requirement, where it will be installed, and a drawing or the details of an existing unit if you have one.
Do you make replacement heating elements for calorifiers?
Yes. We manufacture water heater elements for boilers and calorifiers, including replacements made from a sample of the old element.
Do you build calorifiers for ships and offshore vessels?
Yes. Our calorifiers are used on offshore vessels as well as in hotels, residential buildings and industrial facilities, and stainless steel or copper construction gives long life in marine conditions.
What is the difference between a calorifier and an electric water heater?
A calorifier is a large electric water heater built for commercial, industrial and marine use. It stores 300 to 5000 litres and is fitted with heating elements or a heat exchanger, temperature controls and pressure relief valves. Domestic electric water heaters are much smaller.
