Heaters for large tanks and vessels

A flange immersion heater is a group of tubular heating elements fixed to a flange, which bolts to a matching flange on the tank so the elements sit directly in the liquid. The bolted mounting holds a large heater securely and lets a lot of heat go straight into the water, oil or solution.

Anchor Marine Engineering manufactures flange immersion heaters at its Al Jadaf workshop for water, oil and chemical heating in industrial settings, and marine heating elements for fuel oil systems and HFO tanks. We also make ceramic removable flange heaters, with ceramic insulation and a removable flange, for chemical, fluid and water-based applications.

Every heater is built to your voltage, wattage, flange and element length, from one replacement to bulk supply, and tested before delivery.

Design

How a flange immersion heater is built

Several tubular elements are bent and fixed to a flange plate, with the terminals on the outside of the tank. The flange size, number of elements and immersed length are set by the tank and the heat it needs.
