Tubular elements for direct air heating
A tubular air heater is a heating element with its resistance wire sealed inside a metal tube, used in the open air of an oven, heater or space rather than in a liquid. The tube can be left straight or bent into almost any shape to fit the equipment.
Anchor Marine Engineering manufactures air tubular heaters at its Al Jadaf workshop for direct air heating in ovens, infrared heaters and industrial spaces, giving radiant warmth where it is needed.
Each element is built to your length, shape, voltage and wattage, from one replacement to bulk supply, and tested before delivery.
Tubular air heating elements are also used as air heater elements and oven heating elements. For heaters with fins for faster heat transfer, see finned tubular air heaters.

Design
Formed to fit the equipment
Because the element is a sealed tube, it can be bent into rings, U-shapes or serpentines to fit an oven or heater and spread the heat where it is wanted.
- Resistance wire sealed in a metal tube
- Straight or formed to shape
- Direct and radiant air heating
- Terminals placed to suit the equipment

What is a tubular air heater?
It is a heating element with its resistance wire sealed inside a metal tube, used for heating air directly in ovens, heaters and industrial spaces.
Can tubular elements be bent to a shape?
Yes. We make tubular air heaters straight or formed to the shape of your sample or drawing.
What are tubular air heaters used for?
We manufacture them for direct air heating in ovens, infrared heaters and industrial spaces.
What is the difference between tubular air and finned heaters?
A finned tubular heater adds metal fins to the tube for more heat transfer into moving air in ducts and HVAC. A plain tubular air heater suits ovens, infrared heaters and direct heating of spaces.
